Young Horses
29th of June, 2019The last few months have been quite different for me, Frankie has now been sold and is very happy living in surrey very close to Hickstead. so i have been doing a lot of ground work with my young horses which is strange because I;m used to riding 4 or 5 horses a day.
All the young horses are looking like super stars but all very different.
Sparkle and Oliver have gone off to Twemlows and Chard and Cora are back both in foal to Duke of Deerleap and Dubble Bubble, so we are very excited for next year.
Quando made her first appearance at Myerscough dressage and was very well behaved coming home with a score in the high 60's, thanks to Robyn Morris who is a beautiful rider as commented on by the judge.
Karnival is following close behind so watch this space for two beautiful mares. My boys Biscuit and Zeppo are working well and have a lovely attitude to work but you won't be seeing them till next year.
We wish Mel good luck as she has moved on to pasture new and Lauren will be leaving for a month in Africa then off to Hartpury college.
So its all new at Longhorn stables, new horses and new staff .
Almo and Paddy are working well at home and will be making an appearance at BD soon
We also have a new "2 year old on his way so Max has another friend in the field ( Ones for the future )
We have horse training for regionals and horse training for area's and we are busy getting hay in, so we have exciting times to ahead
